Proposed Standing Rule Changes

Standing Rule 7.2.5. under Duties of Officers, President reads:  "Shall appoint the members of all committees, except the Nominating Committee, not otherwise provided for by the National By-Laws or Chapter Standing Rules."  Our proposed change would be as follows:  "Shall appoint the members of all committees, not otherwise provided for by the National By-Laws or Chapter Standing Rules."

Standing Rule 8.2.7. under The Board of Directors, Duties of the Board of Directors reads:  "All committees, except the Nominating Committee, shall be appointed by the President with approval of the Board."  Our proposed change would be as follows:  "All committees shall be appointed by the President with approval of the Board."

Standing Rule 9.1.2. under Meetings reads:  "A one (1) day Conference in the late summer or early fall of each year."  Our proposed change would be as follows:  "A minimum of a one (1) day Conference in the late summer or early fall of each year."
